Masonic
A note regarding this search: Meetings and conventions were rented from various lodges and organizations, such as Masonic Lodges. This does not mean that the usage of rooms rented in those lodges signifies condoning the purposes of the organization that owned those buildings. It certainly does not mean that Russell was a Mason because a room in a Masonic Lodge was used, or that Russell was a member of the Methodist Church organization because a room owned by Methodists was used, etc.
Masonry
NOTE: The usage of the word “masonry” does not, of itself, signify a relation to the Freemasons’ organization. Any kind stone construction work is done by one who professes the craft as a mason, but being mason of this sort is not the same as being a member of the Freemasons’ organization.
